Hello! I am so excited to be working at Sycamore Academy as a Kinder teacher!
I was born and raised in Southern California. I have a double BA in Human Services and Health Science from California State University, Fullerton. I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a teacher and obtained my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and MA in Education with an emphasis in elementary instruction and curriculum from California State University, Fullerton. I have experience as an intervention teacher for students K-5 at Anaheim Elementary School District. This will be a very exciting and memorable year! I know that we all have the same goals of supporting and encouraging the growth of our students by using best practices. I look forward to providing a safe and exciting space for your student and families.

Dear Families that will continue to Independent Study,
Please help us collect photos and projects for our end of the year Kindergarten Memory Book.
1. At the end of each month we take a photo of each child holding one of their favorite piece of work. It's fun if you can add something that helps us see what month it is ie. apples, pumpkins or snowflakes.
2. Also, we complete a STEAM Quilt square for each Month. Here is the file: Quilt Squares Please do not print all the pages. Use as a reference and choose which page you need. Contact your teacher if you need copies made for you.
Thank you for helping us give all our kiddos consistency.

Welcome to Kindergarten! We can hardly wait to get to know you. You can help us by bringing the “ME” bag to school or Zoom next Tuesday, 9/1/20. Please find the following items and place them in your bag.

*Something that is special to you!
You can use miniature objects, magazine pictures, photos or anything else that will fit in the bag. Bring this bag next Tuesday to share with your classmates. It is going to be an awesome year!
