Mrs. Luevanos was born and raised in So Cal and always wanted to be in education. Her love her learning began early on and she pursued her BA in Liberal Studies with a Major in Child Development and a Minor in Spanish from Whittier College. Mrs. Luevanos continued at WC to receive her MA in Education and Multiple Subject Teaching Credential a couple of years later.
After teaching in traditional school for three years she started working for Options For Youth Charter Schools where she found that if students cannot learn the way we teach then we need to teach the way they will learn and charter schools is the way to do this.
